Nestled between pine forests, dunes and a ten-kilometre stretch of fine, sandy beach, Hardelot-Plage is the most British of the Côte d’Opale seaside resorts and has an enchanting charm! Founded in 1904 by John Whitley at the height of the seaside bathing era, this elegant resort combines nature, wellness, and heritage.
Here, villas designed by the architect Louis Marie Cordonnier tell the story of a time when architecture aimed to be both bold and refined. Throughout the commune, you can discover a unique heritage still influenced by the spirit of Louis Blériot, the pioneering aviator who made his mark with his exploits.
With paths suitable for smooth mobility, Hardelot invites you to take a stroll, go for a cycle tour or ride a horse along the coastal, wooded and open-space routes. It is a place where you can relax and enjoy peace and quiet.
