Take on the assault of the Citadel of Namur and travel through centuries. This fortress, built at the confluence of the Sambre and Meuse rivers, stretches over a large hill. You’re going to cross various places built between the Middle Ages and today and discover the purpose of the buildings and different spaces spread along this impressive site. Ready for the adventure? 🅿️ Free parking at the starting point or on the esplanade of the Citadel of Namur (10 min walk from the starting point of the hunt).
🚌 Accessible by bus or by cable car: for details please refer to the Citadel’s website.
ℹ️ This hunt takes place entirely on the site of the Citadel of Namur; there is no descent to the city of Namur.
Opening times: between 6 November to 31 March from 8am to 6pm; between 1 April to 5 November from 8am to 8pm. Please make sure you leave the site before closing time.
Facilities at the start/finish point: play area with picnic tables and catering facilities (subject to opening).
