    Welcome to Sailly-sur-la-Lys, a small town of 4,000 inhabitants in French Flanders! Put your sense of orientation and observation to the test and discover the historical secrets of this town with its rich heritage. This treasure hunt in the countryside alternates between paths along the banks of the Lys, old textile industry buildings and war memorabilia. For couples or families, a wonderful walk full of discoveries.

    🅿️ Free parking at the starting point.
    🚂 🚌 Accessible by train from the nearest train stations: Nieppe, Béthune, Armentières, La Bassée and by bus by the lines 110 (Merville-Lille), 111 (Merville-Armentières) and 112 (Estaires-Hazebrouck).
    🥾 In wet weather, some passages are likely to be muddy and slippery. We advise you to bring suitable shoes.
    ℹ️ Catering possibilities close to the starting/arrival point (depending on the opening hours). Playground with picnic tables.
    👶 Accessible for all-terrain pushchairs (approximately 150 m more difficult to access on grass).
    🍺🥕 Possibility to buy local products : Carrefour contact, boulangerie Jean-François Leclercq, café L’escale du Bac.

    De heenweg langs het water is aangenaam maar de terugweg langs een vrij lelijke baan is dat helaas helemaal niet.

    Très belle balade/chasse dans un cadre généralement calme.

    Très belle balade/chasse aux trésors le long de la Lys avec plusieurs plaines de jeux et un chouette parcours santé. Il y a effectivement des passages le long de la départementale mais la promenade reste agréable avec les belles maisons et les différentes chapelles à observer.

    Magnifique balade sur la veloroute qui sert aussi pour les piétons...ce tronçon est très reposant...Ne la ratez pas ! Le tronçon de la départementale dont certains se plaignent n'est pas un problème ! Il y a des trottoirs très larges de chaque côté de la route et donc, pas vu où était le problème pour certains.... Qr code final facile à trouver avec l'indice donné !

    Super endroit très chouette pas trop de difficulté

    Nous avons adorer cette balade et la recherche des totems. Nous avons pris le temps, d'apprécier les bruits et les paysages, de ce fait nous avons mis 3 heures. C'est très instructif. Bravo.

    Un gros sentiment ambivalent pour cette chasse. Le début est génial, par contre le très très long retour à côté de la départementale est rédhibitoire pour ma part. Attention aussi pour trouver le nom de l usine de textile...il faudra vous retourner sous peine de nombreux mètres en plus.
