The Defroidmont family invites you to discover chocolate flavours from around the world.

Depending on its origin, the cocoa bean releases aromas that are as subtle as they are distinctive, and are sure to surprise your taste buds.

Take a tour of the museum to learn more about the family history. You’ll travel through the world of chocolate, from the Ivory Coast, where our cocoa beans originate, to Belgium.

In our museum, you’ll discover the different stages of production, from the cocoa bean to the praline, as well as a chocolate tasting session.

Chocolaterie Defroidmont is not just a chocolate factory, it’s a whole experience.

As well as a boutique and a chocolate museum, you’ll find an indoor and outdoor tasting room where you can sample some of our specialities, such as “our homemade hot chocolate, chocolate moelleux and ice cream”.

You’ll also find a glassed-in workshop in our boutique where you can watch the chocolate being made in real time, chocolate workshops for young and old to learn the fine art of chocolate-making, and our free outdoor garden to recharge your batteries before or after your visit to the chocolate factory.
